Michael Fuller is an American jury trial lawyer and law professor.

Prior to law school, Michael worked for Senator Gordon Smith in Washington, DC.

In 2025, Michael received the Arthur H. Bryant Public Justice Award.

In 2023, the Portland Business Journal included Michael in its list of the 40 Most Influential Business Leaders Under 40.

Michael has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine every year for the past decade. His Martindale-Hubbell rating is preeminent.

Michael loves civil jury trials in state and federal court. In the past two years, Michael has tried seven cases to verdict in matters ranging from civil rights to wrongful death to landlord-tenant.

The Western Farm Workers Association (WFWA) recently appointed him to a lifetime position on its esteemed Organizing Committee.

Boxing Coaching & Scholarship

Michael is a volunteer licensed boxing coach with USA boxing.
His boxing scholarships offer free gear, training, and travel money to the gym’s high school fighters.
In 2020, Michael sponsored the construction of a boxing gym in Portland for at-risk youth.

Classroom Grants

Michael’s annual classroom grants of $5,000 honor local public school teachers who make a difference for their students. The teachers are given full authority to use their classroom grants as they see fit.

Public Education

Michael gives back as a licensed substitute K-12 public school teacher and motivational speaker.
He is also a donor and past board member of the Hillsboro Schools Foundation.
