Nate Haberman is a trial lawyer here at Underdog Law. From high-stakes wrongful death cases to seemingly small landlord-tenant issues, Nate brings the same dogged energy to every case.
Nate graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2022 and became a lawyer in October of that year. In a short few years, Nate has gone to trial numerous times in both federal and Oregon state court and has been both first and second chair. Highlights include:
Nate understands the importance of the civil jury trial, and the opportunity it gives the community to hold people accountable for their actions. The democratic check that the civil jury is on the power, whether power takes the form of corporations or government actors, motivates Nate to get these defendants in front of a jury. With a trial-minded approach, Nate prepares each and every case for the jury—increasing settlement value and, if necessary, providing his clients with the tools to tell their story to a jury of their peers. Nate has witnessed first-hand the value of his client’s presenting their stories to the jury. Even when the verdicts are small, the sense of justice and catharsis is always present.
When not at work, Nate can usually be found hanging out with his family or swimming in the cold waters of Oregon. Nate is always looking for a good bite, so tell him your favorite local recommendations!
